Benefits of IEEE LTSC Membership

• Participating in IEEE LTSC Working Groups and Study Groups, including access to Working Group and Study Group documents.
• Posting to IEEE LTSC email lists.
• Note: Requires IEEE Standards Association membership to vote on standards.

Joining IEEE LTSC

Annual membership fees are $25 USD per year ($10 USD for students).

LTSC Membership applications received before September 31, 2008 is valid through December 31, 2008. Membership applications received after October 1, 2008 will be valid through December 31, 2009.

Benefits of IEEE Standards Association Membership

• Voting on IEEE standards, including IEEE LTSC standards.
• Note: There is no requirement to be a member of the IEEE LTSC to participate in IEEE LTSC ballots. However, we certainly appreciate your support ($25 USD per year) which helps pay for our Web site and other services.

Joining the IEEE Standards Association

There are two ways to join the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA).:

1. Joining the IEEE Computer Society (currently costs $102 USD per year) and adding IEEE-SA membership (currently costs $36 USD per year) for $138 USD per year.
   

   Join the IEEE Computer Society and IEEE-SA

2. Alternatively, you can join the IEEE-SA without being a member of the IEEE or an IEEE Society for $186 USD per year.
   

   Join only the IEEE-SA

Joining the LTSC Ballot Pool

After joining the IEEE-SA, you'll need to join the LTSC Ballot Pool. See Balloting and Joining a Ballot Group.
