RCD Past Drafts RCD working draft editorial pass done
May 1, 2005 - The first editorial pass on the first "real" working draft for the Reusable Competency Definition standard (P1484.20) is complete. The working group will meet to resolve the remaining technical issues raised in the straw ballot that approved the initial rough draft. Next step: Submit for official ballot.

This working draft is based on the rough draft approved by straw ballot of the working group in February. Scott Lewis, technical editor for the WG, corrected obvious editorial issues. Some technical issues raised in the straw ballot have not yet been addressed in this draft. For review and completion at May 05 Face to Face meeting

This standard shall specify the mandatory and optional data elements that constitute a Competency Definition as used in a Learning Management System, or referenced in a Competency Profile.

29 June 2005 - The comments received for the Reusable Competency Definitions straw ballot on the first draft have been resolved. The updated draft and comments summary are available for download.

This version of the draft includes edits that aim to resolve all issues raised by 3 people who submitted comments in the strawman ballot. The zip file includes the Word document and a spreadsheet used to record the comments and how they were resolved in for this draft, including a summary of the changes when they were made to the document when appropriate.
